  Why are Gravitational Time dilations represented as vectors away from Earth’s CG?

This is really not a very difficult concept to derive.  From Newton’s formulas for motion we have

v = V0 + at

If V0 is zero or as t goes to infinity the direction of v is equal to a.

Here on Earth’s surface, we are in an accelerated state.  This acceleration has an upwards direction away from Earth’s CG.  If you stand in a closet and imagine that you are in an accelerating rocket ship, which directions would it be accelerating to?  Towards your feet or towards your head?  Well, do not be confused, it would be towards your head, and the velocity of the rocket (assuming negligible initial velocity) would also be towards your head.
